July 13-First day of class

I woke up early for class.  For some reason, I had such a difficult time staying awake.  We heard from our first seminar speaker, Fredrik Accoe.  He talked about manure processing in Flanders.  We ate lunch at the small café on campus.  We worked on homework until about 5 then came home and wrote my seminar report.  That night, I went with Mindy, Paul, Ashley, and Mark to a Mexican restaurant and to the concert in the market square.  I went to a few bars after dinner, but came home around midnight because I was so exhausted!
